We are from the UK and have been visiting Malta and Gozo for the past ten years as avid scuba divers and photographers, and have now settled permanently in the wonderful farmhouse Ta' Matmura and we would like to welcome you to stay with us.
Our 300 year old Gozitan farmhouse is located just outside the village of Gharb in the west of Gozo and surrounded by wonderful countryside and spectacular views just perfect for walking, cycling and photography and as a perfect base for snorkelling and Scuba Diving.
We offer comfortable rooms all individual and all with en-suite facilities and each room has it's own outside space with Table chairs and umbrella, your stay includes breakfast which is taken in the guest breakfast room .
We also offer packed lunches and the occassional optional evening meal, we also organise the occassional BBQ events throughout the year - so keep watching this website for more information.
As keen scuba divers ourselves we are more than happy to play host to visiting diving clubs, with en-suite accommodation for up to 10 divers, depending upon the mix of the party, with rinse and drying facilities and rinse tanks for cameras, use of the pool, free wi-fi and use of the breakfast/dining room as a workshop/theory/appraisal area and to view, download and discuss your underwater photographs. Packed lunches and evening meals are also available upon request plus we can also arrange transfers from the airport/ferry and vehicle hire for the duration of your stay. Organisors please contact us to discuss your party and their requirements.
We work with local organisations who offer a variety of opportunities for outdoor adventures, options for viewing the island and getting the best out of your stay on the beautiful island of Gozo. Please check the 'links' page to see what is on offer or ask us, we are always ready to recommend activities and places to visit.
In the breakfast/dining room you will find plenty of diving related books, journals and guides to the diving around both Gozo and Malta plus photographs from our many visits to the underwater realm.
We also have contacts with many of the local diving centres and can offer advise on local dive sites and arrange boat/rib trips to the more inaccessible dive sites.
